A wide variety of steel access doors, overhead doors, and canopies are available to make sure the various entry points in your building will accommodate your activities; and there are also various ventilation options, windows, and aesthetic elements to choose from.
Your standard steel access door – also called an entry or man door – can be made with or without windows, automatic closers, panic/egress hardware. If there are ADA requirements, they can be accommodated with electrical kits, kick plates, and special thresholds. Finally, your steel access doors can also be made with special foam cores that offer insulation values or fire ratings to fit your needs!
Of course, if you are considering insulation for your doors and windows, then you will likely be interested in doing the same with the rest of your building. Fiberglass blanket insulation is likely the most straightforward product for this purpose, as it is easily installed between your framing and panel during the construction of your pre-engineered metal building.
